Crossing finish line

North Chungcheong Province team’s Moon Jeong-ki, a final leg runner, crosses the finish line to win the 60th Busan-Seoul Relay Marathon at the Gunnae Elementary School, Paju, Gyeonggi Province, Saturday. It was his team’s ninth consecutive win with the record of 28 hours 6 minutes and 18 seconds. The week-long marathon was co-hosted by Hankook Ilbo, a sister company of The Korea Times, and the Korea Association of Athletics Federations. Some 300 participants from 17 provinces and cities started the 532.9 kilometer-race in Busan on Nov. 16, passing through Milyang, Daegu, Gimcheon, Daejeon, Cheonan before arriving in Paju. / Korea Times photo by Wang Tae-seok
