Figure skater Kim Hae-jin wins 2012 ISU Junior Grand Prix

Korean figure skater Kim Hae-jin won the gold medal at the fifth competition of 2012-13 ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating in Bled, Slovenia, Saturday.

Kim earned 147.30 in female singles for the top place, according to foreign news.

This is the first medal for Korea in the ISU Junior Grand Prix since Kim Yu-na grabbed the gold in the 2005-2006 season.

Kim Hae-jin placed fourth with 93.66 points in the free program-- 48.36 in skills and 45.30 in arts, but placed top with 147.30, when the 53.64 in the short program is included.

She is expected to be a promising figure skater, to succeeding to figure skater queen Kim Yu-na.
