Female weightlifter Jang Mi-ran, 27, won the gold medal in the over-75 kilogram class, lifting 311 kilograms, including 181 kilograms in jerk at Guangzhou Asian Games Friday.
Chinese weightlifter meng Suping, 21, lifted same weight, including 176 kilograms in jerk, but was defeated by Jang due to weight difference.
Jang has an Olympic gold medal and four world titles to her credit.
