The South Korean team of Yang Yong-eun and Charlie Wi (Wi Chang-soo) were in ninth place through three rounds at the Mission Hills World Cup in Shenzhen, China, Saturday.

They shot an 11-under 61 in the penultimate round, producing 11 birdies, which moved them to 16-under, 200 overall and 10 shots back of the leaders ― the Irish duo of Rory McIlroy and Graeme McDowell ― who are at 26-under, 190.

Yang had six of the pair's seven birdies on the front nine while Wi added four more on the back nine.

Sweden was in second place followed by Italy and South Africa.

The tournament was slated to wrap up Sunday evening.
