Song Bo-bae claimed her career-first title of the LPGA Tour at the Mizuno Classic in Japan Sunday.

The 23-year-old scored a 15-under 201 after firing a four-under 68 in the final round at Kintetsu Kashikojima Country Club in Shima for a three-stroke win over Lorena Ochoa, Brittany Lang and Park Hee-young, who each had a 12-under total.

Shin Ji-yai, the defending champion and Tour money leader, finished in a tie for fifth with Yani Tseng, Jeon Mi-jeong and Park In-bee at three-under.

It is the 11th title claimed by Korean golfers this season, which has matched the most wins set in 2006.

With the victory, Song, a two-time best player awardee of the KLPGA, has earned an LPGA card for 2010.

Overnight leader Song, who won the Japan Women's Open last month, came up strong with five birdies and no bogeys through the 13th hole.
