Lee Yong-dae and Jung Jae-sung won a gold medal Sunday in the men's doubles of the Indonesia Super Series in Jakarta.
The fifth-ranked South Korean pair, who made it through to the final after downing world No. 1 Markis Kido and Hendra Setiawan in the semifinals, defeated No. 6 Fu Haifeng and Cai Yun of China 21-15, 21-16 for the championship.
It is the first time the duo has pocketed a Super Series title since they won the opener of the 12-tournament series in January in Malaysia.
Lee couldn't repeat the feat in the mixed doubles tourney along with his Beijing Olympic gold medal-winning teammate Lee Hyo-jung, as the pair fell to China's Zheng Bo and Ma Jin 21-17, 8-21, 21-16 at the $250,000 event.
