South Korean Major League pitcher Park Chan-ho said Tuesday his wife has delivered their second child.

In a posting on his personal Web site, the 35-year-old right-hander playing for LA Dodgers had his first daughter in 2006 after marrying an ethnic Korean in Japan the year before. Park began his Major League career in 1994.

"I have good news to deliver," Park wrote on his Web site. "My wife has given birth to a pretty daughter. Both are well, and I was present at the time of the birth."

"From tomorrow on, I will be standing on the mound as the father of two daughters," said Park, who has pitched four wins and three losses this season.

Park is an iconic figure in his home country as he is the first South Korean to have ever reached the big league in the United States. He has a career record of 117 wins and 91 losses, having played for four different teams in his career.
