Cleveland Indians outfielder Choo Shin-soo hit a home run for the second straight game in his team's 6-4 loss against the Seattle Mariners Sunday in Cleveland.
Choo, batting sixth and playing left field, hit a solo shot over the right-field wall off Ryan Rowland-Smith that tied the score 1-1 in the bottom of the second inning.
The South Korean also had a game-tying, two-run homer off Mariners closer J.J. Putz in the ninth inning of a game the Indians lost 4-3 in 10 innings on Saturday.
Choo's long ball on Sunday was his fifth in the last 10 games.
Choo, 26, batted 2-for-4 in the game to raise his average to .276.
The Indians, who came into the three-game series with a 10-game winning streak, were swept by the Mariners, who are tied with the San Diego Padres for the second worst record in U.S. Major League Baseball (MLB) at 53-83.
Choo, the second South Korean position player to play in MLB, has compiled 42 RBIs and 47 runs this season.
