Earlier in the day, Lee Ho-suk topped the men's 1,000 meters.
In the race, the 22-year-old, who won a silver medal in the 1,500 meters behind compatriot Song Kyung-taek on Friday, finished first in the 1,000-meter race in 1 minute, 26.462 seconds, just ahead of 500-meter winner Apolo Anton Onho of the United States and Song, who were behind by 0.066 and 0.153 seconds, respectively.
With two laps to go, Lee and Song led the race, before Ohno cranked up a late spurt, which dropped Song to third place.
Meanwhile, Yang Shin-young, a silver medallist in the 1,500 meters, qualified for the 1,000 meter final, but finished last out of four competitors in the field, while China's Wang Meng added her third gold medal to the tally.
