The KTF MagicWings evened the Korean Basketball League (KBL) championship series 3-3 Sunday, forcing the series to the final game by defeating the Ulsan Mobis 74-66.

In an away game at Ulsan, point guard Shin Ki-sung, who scored 16 points and five assists, and American Aaron McGhee, who had 23 points and six rebounds, led the Pusan-based MagicWings over the Mobis, which led the series 3-1 through Game 4.

It is the first time in the 10-year KBL history for a team, which trailed the championship series 1-3, to force it to the final game.

The final game will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

The MagicWings, which was behind two points in the first quarter, took the control from the second quarter, pouring in 25 points against Mobis' 18.

They out-rebounded 18-13 in the first half.

Entering the third quarter, the Mobis, which topped the regular season, relied on only a three-pointer because of McGhee's strong defense on the post.

Despite Mobis getting to within one point after center Chris Burgess' consecutive points the team never managed to tie or get a reversal.

``Defending points guard Yang Dong-geun effectively was a key factor to today's victory. In Game 7, we will try to play a good game,'' MagicWings head coach Choo Il-seung said.
