Gender Equality Forum

Minister of Gender Equality and Family Lee Jung-ok speaks during the opening ceremony for the “Gender Equality and COVID-19 Pandemic” global forum hosted by the ministry, to discuss the impacts and challenges the coronavirus outbreak has presented with regard to sexual equality, at an auditorium on Nodeul Island in the Han River in Seoul, Thursday. The conference, which will also discuss gender equality and women, and peace and security, marks the 25th anniversary of the Beijing Platform for Action (BPFA), and the 20th anniversary of U.N.
