The International Education Exchange Association (IEEA) Global Campus will hold orientations for students wishing to apply to universities in the United States.
The education institution specializes in helping students apply and prepare for its partner state universities across the U.S.
Through its study abroad program, students may apply for admission to these universities without taking the SAT, the standardized test normally used for college admissions, or the Test for English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), required for non-native speakers. Instead, students will simply need to prepare for in-depth interviews.
According to the institution, its study abroad program is an appealing alternative to studying in Korea as it equips students with skills to meet global standards.
By attending a U.S. university, students may acquire fluent English skills and develop careers in their area of study.
Students may apply to 19 of its partner schools, including the State University of New York, California State University, Washington State University and Utah State University.
More than 2,000 students have been admitted to U.S. universities through the IEEA Global Campus program over the last 10 years, according to the institution.
In addition, a majority of them maintained grade point averages of 3.0 on a 4.0-point scale. Many were recognized for their achievements, making the dean's list and the president's list.
Orientation will be held on Dec. 16 and Dec. 17. Students can apply online at campus.ieea.or.kr to participate.
