The Seoul Metropolitan Government’s Social Economy Fair is scheduled to open next Thursday, featuring 180 social enterprises and co-operatives in Seoul.
At the three-day event, participants will make a presentation about their businesses and sell products at Seoul Plaza and in the City Hall basement. Visitors will also be able to learn about the history of the social economy of Seoul.
The fair is part of the Academy on Social and Solidarity Economy, which will take place throughout next week in Seoul. The academy is designed to train local social entrepreneurs.
The theme for this year’s academy is “Innovative Ecosystems for Social and Solidarity Economy Public Policies ― a Contribution to the Future of Work.”
