Rainbo International School (RIS) is making concerted efforts to help students become global as well as moral and ethical leaders.
“Every classroom is educating global leaders through the use of cutting edge technology as well as through promoting effective communications in both speaking and writing,” Principal Emin Huseynov said.
In the classroom, students can use MacBooks and iPads to explore and analyze information.
The school gives each student in grades 2-4 an iPad and each in grade 5-8 a MacBook.
Not only does Rainbow provide up-to-date facilities but also promotes moral and ethical education.
“The school integrates digital citizenship into lessons to show that it is important to be ethical leaders in using cutting-edge technology in the digital age,” Huseynov said.
As part of our efforts to help students grow up with global competence, the school also holds an International Day every year.
On that day, students and their families work together to construct booths featuring different cultures and histories of 18 countries so they can share what they have learned with other students.
“Through this event it is clear that we foster a safe, respectful, and diverse environment at RIS,” Huseynov added.
In addition, the school’s curriculum has been recognized for its high quality by various organizations including the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education.
It is also fully accredited by two of the world’s leading accrediting organizations _ the Council of International Schools, based in Europe, and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, based in the U.S. This joint accreditation is a testament to the school’s commitment to academic excellence.
RIS is also an affiliate member of the National Association of Independent Schools, the East Asia Regional Council for Overseas Schools, and the Korea Council of Overseas Schools.
