President Lee Jae Myung on Tuesday received diplomatic credentials from seven new ambassadors to Korea, the presidential office said.
The ambassadors include Cecep Herawan of Indonesia, Julio Herraiz Espana of Spain, Toufiq Islam Shatil of Bangladesh, Sianga Kivuila Samuel Abilio of Angola, Lyes Nait-Tighilt of Algeria, Syed Moazzam Hussain Shah of Pakistan and Angie Shakira Martinez Tejera of the Dominican Republic.
New ambassadors typically present copies of their credentials to the head of state to formally assume their roles.
