Yoon to give live New Year's address

President Yoon Suk Yeol will deliver a New Year's address live from his office, focusing on people's livelihoods and the economy, a presidential official said Sunday.

Yoon will begin his message at 10 a.m. on New Year's Day and speak for around 20 minutes, according to the presidential official.

"President Yoon will emphasize a government that promptly addresses issues and takes action ... (and) intends to announce his resolve to establish a government that takes care of people's livelihoods," the official said. (Yonhap)
