Five South Korean women were deported from Singapore for protesting against the summit between U.S. President Donald Trump and North Korean Leader Kim Jong-un, reports said.
Police had their visitor visas cancelled, according to the Straits Times report on Thursday.
The five were arrested on a charge of causing trouble under the Public Order Act on Monday in a “special event area” designated for the summit.
Earlier Monday, the group unfurled banners near the Capella Hotel on Singapore's Sentosa Island, where the summit was held on Tuesday.
According to police, the women were again caught with a protest sign near the Shangri-La Hotel, where Trump was staying. Police told them to leave the area but they didn't, instead heading to the St. Regis Hotel, where Kim was staying.
