No More Nude Scenes

Actress Natalie Portman, who played a stripper in "Closer" and appeared nude in the short film "Hotel Chevalier," has said she won't strip down again because she doesn't want the images to appear all over the Internet, CBS Online reported.

"It really depressed me that half of every review on `Hotel Chevalier' was about the nudity. It made me think I shouldn't have done it," she said in a report published Friday.

The actress said she's "not prudish" about nudity ― she just doesn't want the focus to be on her assets instead of her acting.

"I think (nudity) is beautiful in films, and sex is such a big part of life," she added. "My issue is that I feel it takes something away from what you're doing when the focus is put on the wrong thing."

"I just don't want to do something that will end up as a screen grab on a porn site."

포트먼 `누드는 그만'

영화 `클로저'에서는 스트리퍼로, 단편영화 `호텔 슈발리에'에서는 누드로 출연했던 여배우 내털리 포트먼이 더 이상 노출 장면을 찍지 않겠다고 선언하면서 자신의 누드 사진이 인터넷에 떠돌아다니는 것을 원치 않기 때문이라고 이유를 댔다.

CBS 온라인은 포트먼이 ```호텔 슈발리에' 장면의 절반이 누드에 관한 것이라 진짜 스트레스가 많았다. 이후 그러지 말았어야 했다는 생각을 했다''고 말한 것으로 인용해 보도했다.

그녀는 자신이 지나치게 `얌전을 빼는' 스타일은 아니라고 주장하면서 초점이 연기가 아닌 누드에 맞춰지기를 원치 않을 뿐이라고 덧붙였다.

포트먼은 ``영화에서 누드가 아름답고 섹스가 인생의 중요한 부분이라고 생각한다''면서도 ``초점이 잘못된 것에 맞춰질 때 자신이 하고 있는 일에서 무언가를 잃어버리는 느낌이 든다''고 말했다.

그녀는 ``단지 포르노 사이트의 한 장면으로 끝날 무언가를 하고 싶지 않을 뿐''이라고 덧붙였다.
