Three people died in a stabbing attack at a restaurant in Seoul on Wednesday, with the suspect attempting to take his own life, officials said.
The 40-something man attacked two men and a woman with a sharp weapon at the restaurant in Seoul's southwestern ward of Gwanak at around 10:57 a.m., according to police and rescue authorities.
The victims were rushed to the hospital but did not survive. The suspect reportedly tried to take his own life but was rescued.
Police believe the suspect may have been motivated by a business dispute and said an investigation into the incident is currently under way.
