Actor Park Joong-hoon caught drunk driving

Actor Park Joong-hoon was caught for allegedly driving drunk, police said Sunday.

Gangnam Police Station said Park, whose blood alcohol content was 0.176 percent at the scene, was apprehended, Friday, at an underground parking lot of an apartment in Gangnam District, Seoul. The legal limit is 0.03 percent, and drivers who test higher than 0.08 face revocation of their licenses.

Park, 55, was allegedly driving at about 9:30 p.m., Friday, inside the parking lot where he was busted.

Police responded to the scene after receiving a call at 10:20 p.m. that an unidentified man acting drunk was being uncooperative after driving his car into the parking lot.

Police are analyzing the video footage obtained from surveillance cameras at the parking lot and also from the dashboard camera.

Park admitted the allegations against him.

He was previously stripped of his driver's license in 2004 for drunk driving.

He starred in multiple box office hits in the 1990s and 2000s, including “Radio Star” and the “Two Cops” series.
