Man detained as prime suspect in mother, son deaths

Police are investigating a man in his 40s who is suspected of killing his mother and son and hiding their bodies in vinyl at his home.

Dongjak Police Station said Thursday detectives detained the man at a motel in Seoul and are investigating him on suspicion of homicide and parricide.

Police found the bodies in a walk-in closet at the man's home on April 27. The visit was made at the request of his sister-in-law who told police she had not heard from the mother-in-law for days.
