Police are searching for a woman, 38, who went missing on Jeju Island last week.

Jeju Dongbu Police Station said Monday that 230 police officers and rescue workers were searching for the woman, who disappeared near Sehwa Port on northeastern Jeju at around 11 p.m. on July 25.

The woman, who lives at Ansan in Gyeonggi Province, came to the island on July 20 with her husband and two children to go camping.

According to her family, Choi went to a convenience store while drunk. Police confirmed that she bought soju and cups at a store near the port.

After her family reported her missing, police began a search and found her mobile phone, credit card and a slipper the next day.
