YouTuber's revelations of sexual humiliation go viral

A popular YouTube personality's teary revelations of sexual humiliation have gone viral.

Yang Ye-won said she had been forced to undress in front of strange men at a photographic studio located near Hapjeong Station in Seoul. The revelation came after some of the photos appeared on the internet.

After her teary video was uploaded to her Facebook account and too her YouTube channel Beagle Couple on May 16, more than 240,000 people have watched it within less than two days.

Yang said that three years ago, when she was in college, she applied to be a clothing model and was called to an audition at the photo studio. Later on the shooting day, she was forced to undress and pose half-naked in front of some 20 strange men. Same happened for the following shooting days, according to Yang. She recently found the photos on six websites.

“When I entered the room, the iron door got locked and the chief of the studio locked it again with a padlock,” Yang said. Inside were some 20 crew, all of them men and many smoking.

She made clear her intention not to continue with the photo shoot but was threatened and scared.

After Yang's video went viral, two more victims, model Yoo Ye-lim, 18, and aspiring actress Lee So-yoon, 28, claimed they had similar experiences.

They said that they didn't know the photos involved nudity.

The Mapo Police Station launched an investigation into the allegations.
