A man in his 20s has been accused of locking his one-year-old son on a balcony as discipline for being upset.
Police plan to forward the case to the prosecution, believing the man violated the Child Protection Law.
The incident took place at 9 p.m. on April 8. When the boy became upset at bedtime, the father struck him on the head several times and locked him barefooted on the balcony for several minutes. The child was wearing only thin pajamas, according to police.
When the mother tried to bring the baby inside, her husband stopped her. The mother then asked her sister-in-law to call police using a chat app. Police arrived and let the baby inside.
