Yangpyeong Police arrested the suspect, 41, at around 5:45 p.m. on a national highway in Imsil, North Jeolla Province, and are now questioning him.

Yoon was found dead near his home in Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi Province earlier in the day.

According to the Yangpyeong Police Station, Yoon’s mother found him in a garden next to the parking lot of his home at around 7:30 a.m. An injury was found on his neck.

The senior Yoon worked at the Korea Development Bank and served as director of the Korea Securities Finance, retiring in 2002.

He is the father-in-law of NCSOFT CEO Kim Taek-jin.

Kim was a founding member of the office software developer Hancom and founded the game software maker NCSOFT.

He and the junior Yoon became acquainted when the latter became a non-executive director of NCSOFT in 2004, and the two married in November 2007.

Yoon graduated from Seoul Science High School and KAIST at the top of her class, then went on to earn a doctoral degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She gained attention after she became a director at mobile carrier SK Telecom at age 28.
