BUSAN — Opened in April this year, Busan’s Nasub has quickly become one of the city’s hippest spots, ideal for enjoying a midday coffee by the sea or a few cocktails before heading out to the clubs.
Located along the shores of Gwangalli Beach, with a sweeping view of Gwangan Bridge, Nasub offers a relaxed coastal atmosphere where guests can enjoy sets from some of the best DJs from Busan, Seoul and occasionally abroad.
Founded by the former owner of Nyapi — one of Seoul’s most recognized underground clubs — Nasub infuses Busan’s laid-back charm with a touch of Seoul’s creativity. It’s a place to unwind with good cocktails, scenic views and a carefully curated menu designed for sharing among friends.
The founder explained the idea behind Nasub simply: “I wanted Nasub to be a place where people could stop by for a moment of relaxation, whether they were excited by the ocean view or just looking for a break. Soothing sounds, good lighting, a delicious drink and conversation flowing naturally. A place that’s stylish yet easygoing, atmospheric yet comfortable. Fortunately, things seem to be heading in that direction. Some really cool people are gathering here.”

As night falls, the venue transforms into an intimate dance floor, drawing guests in with its warm lighting and finely tuned sound system. Signature drinks such as the Nasub tequila and earl grey martini stand out for their sweet yet layered flavors, pairing perfectly with dishes inspired by Indonesian cuisine — including satay skewers, known for their delicate texture and balanced spices.
For dessert, Nasub offers the perfect finish to the evening — a light, truffle-infused layer cake that complements both the bar’s refined tequila selection and the mellow house grooves that fill the room as the night deepens.
For those visiting Busan, Nasub offers the perfect blend of a refined interior, good music and signature cocktails set against the calm of Gwangalli Beach.
Nasub is open Wednesdays and Thursdays from noon to 1 a.m. and on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 2 a.m. It is closed Monday and Tuesday. Follow @nasubnasubnasub on Instagram for more information.
