Beyond the rhythmic movements of dark silhouettes amidst the neon lights, one figure remains prominent: DJ Terry. DJ Terry, whose real name is Kim Ji-yong, embarked on his musical journey at age 20. Currently spinning his magic at Pose Lounge in central Seoul's Itaewon, he finds immense joy in resonating with audiences through the music he plays.

"There's something truly special when the crowd reacts to tracks I personally adore, but it's equally exhilarating to see them move to something I've picked out just for them," DJ Terry shared with The Korea Times.

For many, music serves as a sanctuary during trying times, and for Terry, it has been a lifelong companion. He believes the allure of being a DJ lies in the ability to offer both joy and solace through the beats and melodies of his favorite songs.

"When life was tough, I found solace in music. Music has always been there for me," he confided. "I believe the charm of being a DJ lies in giving joy and comfort to people through the music I play."

Over the years, DJ Terry's life has been profoundly influenced by his career. "Thanks to my job as a DJ, I have been able to... broaden my horizons," he shared.
