An international food exhibition titled “Food Week Korea” will be held at COEX halls A to D from Nov. 2 to 5.

Over 1,000 companies will exhibit a range of food products and services at 1,800 booths.

COEX has organized the event with support from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE), the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, Seoul Metropolitan Government, and the Gangnam-gu Office.

International exhibitors will feature ASEAN countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines as well as Turkey, Japan and China.

The event will include business meetings with overseas Korean buyers and domestic food distributors. There will be a consulting session “Applying the FTA.”

Special events will see Food Week Tech, an exhibition of hygiene and safety related brand and newly-launched food technology and opening the sharing economy in the food industry.

Food Week Bar will present an exhibition of beverage and alcohol brands while the Seoul Cooking and Dining Show is an experience-oriented marketing platform.

Food Week Global will see the expansion of the International Food Pavilion.

“At Food Week Korea, you can learn all about food trends of the future and expand your business into Asia,” the organizer says.

“Food Week Korea is a total platform for every aspect of the food and beverage industry. From raw ingredients, to machinery, packaging, food products, drinks, and desserts, all under one roof ― providing a premier destination for exhibitors and buyers for the past 10 years.”
