The Camarata Music Company (CMC) will host its 5th annual fundraiser “Fall into Music” Oct. 21 at Grand Hyatt Seoul.

Guests are invited to enjoy a night of networking and friendship with a performance by the Camarata Chamber Singers.

The evening will also feature a standing buffet with complimentary wine, a live auction for United Airlines round-trip business class and economy tickets to the U.S. or Canada, Lufthansa round-trip economy-class tickets to Europe, vacation getaways and a relaxation-and-rejuvenation package from Grand Hyatt, including a two-night stay and spa services.

The CMC is a nonprofit organization that provides collaborative performance opportunities for musicians of all nationalities residing in Korea.

“It presents opportunities for the public to hear classical music performed by people from many different cultures and nationalities,” the company says on its website. “Seventy-three countries from six continents have been represented since 2009.”

All proceeds will support the CMC Series and Outreach Program. All donations, or a portion thereof, may be eligible for tax deductions.

The Camarata Chamber Singers are an auditioned choir of 31 singers.

“Besides its two major concerts, the choir can be seen singing for fundraisers, lecture concerts, various business events and private parties. It has performed for former President of Korea Lee Myung-bak and ambassadors from numerous countries, and is regularly featured at benefit concerts and at some of Korea’s finest art halls,” said CMC founder and director Ryan Goessl.

“Camarata believes that music is something that should be shared with everyone no matter what their situation, especially children, and thus it goes beyond the scope of concert performance with its Outreach Program.”

With Camarata Outreach, choir members reach out to the community through volunteering and performing for the less fortunate and underprivileged at hospitals, nursing centers, orphanages, low-income centers, charity events, and benefits.

Tickets for “Fall into Music” may be purchased at the door or prior to the event via credit card or bank transfer. All tickets are tax deductible and available for 90,000 won in advance or 95,000 won at the door. Contact
