Listen

By John Redmond

Miriam Rodriguez Brüllova, Slovakia’s representative guitarist, will perform at this year’s fourth Gallery Open Stage event at the Korea Foundation (KF) Cultural Center Gallery in downtown Seoul on Aug. 17.

“Guitarist Brüllova will present the melodic works by Mertz, Paganini and Schubert, as well as exquisite pieces by Spanish composers Torroba, Rodriguez and de Falla,” the organizer said in a press release.

Ms. Brüllova will also collaborate with Korean cellist Kang Seung-min, a fifth-prize winner at the International Tchaikovsky Competition in 2015.

“The two will demonstrate the depth and richness of music that can be produced by harmonizing the sounds of the guitar and cello.”

The concert is free and will begin at 8 p.m.

The KF Cultural Center Gallery is on the second floor of Mirae Asset Center 1 West Tower.
