The fourth monthly club night by the organizers of HBC Fest, the longest-running biannual expat live concert festival in Seoul, will present performances in celebration of the coming New Year in Haebangchon on Thursday.

Sponsored by participating clubs, restaurants and bars under the theme of “Bring in 2016 in Your Local Neighborhood,” Phillies Pub, Geni Pub and V Lounge will host performances by 10 local acts.

“The idea behind this is a few venue owners wanted to establish a regular, low-key music night in HBC. Much like the same band club night in Hongdae,” said organizer Lance Reegan Deil.

The concert series will take place on the last night of each month. It first began on Oct. 31 at V Lounge.

Kicking off at Geni Pub at 8 p.m. with Alex Kim, acts will include Brett Elliot, The Kimchi Cowboys (at Phillies) and Judonomi, with closing act Mimi Roh who will be performing three original songs at Genie Pub.
