The Seoul International Women’s Association (SIWA) will host an “Enrichment Sign-Up Day and Coffee Morning” at the Conrad Seoul on Sept. 22.
SIWA provides the opportunity twice a year (fall and spring) for members with expertise to offer classes to other SIWA members.
“Enrichment classes promote cultural exchanges, sharing of skills and multicultural friendships between members. They open doors to unique hobbies and truly enriched times in Korea and, above all, our members have lots of fun,” states the invitation.
Typical offerings include classes in language, arts and crafts, cooking and health and fitness.
“In lieu of coffee mornings in September and January, SIWA hosts an Enrichment Class Program Sign-Up Event. SIWA provides the opportunity for members with expertise to offer classes to other SIWA members in English,” the association states on its webpage.
Enrichment classes are exclusive to SIWA members.
For more than 50 years, SIWA, Seoul’s premier international women’s organization, consisting of women from more than 40 countries, including about 25 percent from Korea, has been a forum where women from around the world can meet, find friends, learn about each other’s culture and improve the lives of those less fortunate in Korea.
The Enrichment Class Sign-Up event will, for the first time, be hosted as a Coffee Morning at the Conrad Seoul Hotel. You will get the opportunity to enjoy a cup of coffee and a light breakfast while meeting other SIWA members.
The event will be from 9:30 a.m. to midday and the cost is 25,000 won.
