The fifth Expats’ Day festival featuring a soccer game between FC Seoul and Suwon Samsung is scheduled for Seoul World Cup Stadium on Oct. 5.

Billed as the biggest foreigner welcoming event of the year, the festival includes a B-boy dance show, cheerleaders, a pop concert, DJ performance, tattoo air brush and body painting, costume competitions and a variety of event booths.

Last year, more than 10,000 expats participated in the event.

“Once a Year, All Expats, All Together!” states a flyer advertising the festival.

Tickets cost 12,000 on the day and will include admission, along with a free drink (beer), free hot dog and more free food.

A passport or alien registration card is required to exchange vouchers for beer and food.

Early-bird tickets cost 10,000 and are available at selected local pubs in Itaewon, Seoul Global Center or by money transfer to Community Korea, account holder Kwon Young-hun, account number 1005-202-273771 at Woori Bank.

Be sure to remit the money under your name.

The festival zone opens at 11a.m. and the game kicks off at 2 p.m.
