Fans invited to view Aussie rugby match in Itaewon

Fans of the Australian rugby league are invited to view the State of Origin match between Queensland and New South Wales at Sam Ryan’s Sports Bar in Itaewon tonight.

Kicking off at 7 p.m., the rugby league’s “greatest rivalry” will be screened live.

A cover charge of 10,000 won includes free Australian beer and a hamburger,

The Australian beer available includes

, Victoria Bitter, Tooheys Old and Tooheys New. The Australian hamburger made from Australian beef, comprises of traditional ingredients such as beetroot, lettuce, tomato, cheese and grilled onions.

There will be raffle tickets sold during the event to raise money for the Jeon Jin Sang medical clinic and hospice in Siheung-dong, Seoul. The center provides multi-disciplinary services for isolated children, the disabled, senior citizens and the terminally ill.

Raffle prizes will include meat packs, beer and wine.

The State of Origin is a best-of-three rugby series between the states of Queensland and New South Wales of Australia.

Sam Ryan’s Sports Bar is located on the street behind the Hamilton Hotel above 3 Alley Pub.

To get there, leave Itaewon Station via exit 1 and walk straight and take a right at the second street to the foreigner food alley.
