SIWA to host network party Jan. 30

Seoul International Women's Association (SIWA) will host a Working Women's Network dinner party to be held at The Flying Pan Blue in Itaewon on Jan. 30 from 7:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

For non- SIWA members, the cost for the evening will include 10,000 won on top of the menu bill.

To get to The Flying Pan Blue, take the subway to Itaewon station, stop 630. Take exit 2 from the station and walk straight. At the first street (only a few meters from the exit), take a left (it’s the only way to go). You will be able to see The Flying Pan Blue up on your right hand side, just up from My Thai restaurant. Seminar: getting hired in Korea

A seminar, featuring professional expats sharing their stories, offering advice and explaining how they overcame obstacles and navigated their way through the hiring process will take place at Macaroni Market (Restaurant), Itaewon, Seoul, on Jan. 26.

The event will be from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and includes; 12 – 12:30 p.m. special guest speaker, Ron Cahoon, will give a presentation on how to make your goals smarter. 12:30-1:30 p.m. an expat panel comprising of Erik Cornelius, USA, Edelman; Olga Sadaeva, Russia, Samsung Engineering; Hannha Bae, U.S. Embassy; Douglas Smith, Canada, Samsung C&T. 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. HR experts will give advice; James Cassidy, USA, Director HR Operations Doosan; James Morgan, UK, Director Global HR Samsung Electronics; Joshua Ro, USA, Managing Director People Consulting Group. Both panel sessions feature a Q&A time.
