Seoul Players is holding auditions for its first musical ― "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee."
This one act musical comedy centers around a spelling bee at the Putnam Valley Middle School.
Six quirky adolescents compete in the Bee, run by three equally-quirky grown-ups.
The auditions will take place at Roofers in Itaewon on March 27 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. and March 28 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Callbacks will be held on Sunday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Actors interested should e-mail Seoul Players at
and leave your name, phone number and time you would like to audition. You should also prepare a short song to sing acapella and will be asked to do a cold reading.
Rehearsal times will most likely be evenings and weekends, dependent on casting. Rehearsals will be in and near Itaewon.
If the role of musician, stage manager, choreographer, technicians, prop master, set crew, light crew, publicity, press or front of house interests you then also e-mail Seoul Players with your details and what you would like to do.
