The year 2009 is the 250th anniversary of the death of Handel.
The Sejong Center for the Performing Arts, boasting the largest pipe organ in Asia, is holding a commemorative concert by inviting a world-renowned organist to perform music composed by Handel.
David Sanger, who studied at the British Eltham College and Royal Academy of Music, is an internationally renowned musician holding concerts all around the world. In Seoul, he will present to the Korean audience the gift of the most beautiful music along with several guest musicians.
These artists include the Seoul Youth Orchestra with conductor Park Tae-young; the Grande Opera Choir; Lee Yun-jung on oboe and Lee Hee-seung on cambalo.
Ticket prices: R 50,000 won / S 40,000 won / A 30,000 won / Handel seats 10,000 won.
