Seoul Players' newest production, ``All in the Timing" by David Ives, answers a question, what do a monkey, a cappella, a foreign language, finding the perfect date, a Philly steak and the Russian Revolution all have in common?

The 90-minute show opened Sunday to a sold-out crowd in Haebangcheon.

This is Seoul Players' 12th production in its six-year history and was one of the most challenging productions to stage, from gathering hard-to-find props to helping the actors through the difficult script.

``This collection of six, seemingly, random comedies was extremely interesting to stage," says director Lyle Arnason, ``but definitely a whole lot of fun!"

This is the first Seoul Players production Arnason is directing but he is no stranger to the stage or this particular group, having acted in its previous production, ``Dinner on the 14th Floor.''

``My background in theater is quite extensive and I'm happy to be a part of it here in Seoul," he says. ``Directing All in the Timing for Seoul Players was especially gratifying for me since we are all volunteers, from different parts of Seoul, it really demonstrates how much we all really love theater."

Dedicating countless volunteer hours to rehearsals, set decor, planning, publicity, emails, front of house and everything else that goes along with putting on a full-scale production, the five-person Seoul Players volunteer committee has been working tirelessly for the past three months to organize and promote the event.

``Seoul Players is about providing English-language theater to people who love and appreciate it," says Diana Underwood, Seoul Players' producer. ``We do all of it because we love and appreciate it, too."

Tickets can be purchased at the door for 10,000 won but Seoul Players recommends reserving in advance via telephone (010-7219-2534) or email (seoulplayers@gmail.com).

The show runs every Friday, Saturday and Sunday until June 21, starting at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at the VFW in Haebangchon near Noksapyeong Station (near Itaewon).
