American Comic to Perform in Seoul

The comic genius of American actor and writer, Dan Smith, will be unveiled at an ex-pat wine bar in Seoul this weekend.
Smith, who started comedy in the early 1990s while attending Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, will perform at the Kabinett Wine Bar May 9-10 at 8 p.m.
Giving a new meaning to the term ``Happy Hour," Club Comedy Nights presents a night of laughs featuring the talented actor and writer, who has appeared on TV shows such as ``Drew Carey,'' ``Talk Soup'' and ``Loco Comedy Jam.''
Apart from numerous guest appearances, Smith has also written for several shows, including ``Blind Date," ``The 5th Wheel" and ``Extreme Dating."
In 1995, Smith entered and won the Funniest Comic in Boston contest sponsored by HBO. Soon after that, he picked up and moved to Los Angeles. Since then, he's been a busy comedian.
He has completed sixteen (and still counting) military comedy tours, performing for U.S. and NATO troops in over 30 countries around the world, including Bosnia, Kosovo, Iceland, Korea, Japan, Afghanistan and Iraq.
Kabinett Wine Bar is adjacent to the Itaewon Hotel on Itaewon's main strip, across from the Cheil Building.
