The KF-21 fighter jet, above, conducts a test flight with a KF-16 jet near Sacheon Air Base in South Gyeongsang Province, Wednesday. Republic of Korea Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Lee Young-su boarded the  KF-21 Boramae,  a 4.5-generation supersonic fighter jet developed by Korea Aerospace Industries, which successfully completed its maiden flight on July 19, 2022. It  achieved a milestone of 1,000 accident-free sorties on Nov. 28, 2024.
