A government task force team has invited military attaches of foreign embassies to attend a session today at the Kim Koo Museum and Library in Seoul to provide information on events to mark the 60th anniversary of the outbreak of the Korean War next year.
The team, affiliated with the Office of the Prime Minister, extended invitations to the military attaches of the countries that had sent troops to fight communist North Koreans, officials said Wednesday.
Officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs will also attend the event.
Participants will be provided with information on specific program and event schedules that will take place next year, the officials said.
