The Marine Corps will hold an international symposium in Seoul Thursday to discuss its future development and strategies in line with changing security conditions, Marine officials said.
The symposium, titled ``Development Strategies of the Foreign Amphibious Forces and Directions for the ROK Marine Corps' Development,'' will be held in Imperial Palace hotel in southern Seoul.
Lt. Gen. Lee Sang-ro, commandant of the ROK Marine Corps, is scheduled to attend the meeting in which domestic Marine officers from South Korea, the United States and Australia, as well as several military experts will participate, they said.
