A 2.0 magnitude earthquake struck waters off the southern island of Jeju on Sunday, but there were no immediate reports of injury or damage.
The quake occurred at 8:28 p.m. in waters about 80 kilometers west-southwest of Seogwipo on Jeju Island, with the epicenter located at a depth of 6 kilometers, according to the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA).
The quake is unlikely to cause any kind of damage, the KMA added.
