The FBI has arrested a Korean dentist named Kwon for allegedly causing a disturbance while drunk aboard a Korean Air flight to Guam.
According to Korean Air and Daily Pacific Network, a news outlet in Guam, Kwon drank five beers and smoked a cigarette inside a toilet during the flight, which took off from Gimhae, South Gyeongsang Province, on April 16.
Kwon allegedly assaulted a flight attendant who refused to serve him more beer. The dentist punched the attendant while dragging him down an aisle.
Passengers came to aid the attendant and restrained Kwon for the remainder of the flight.
Kwon was arrested after arriving at Guam Antonio B. Won Pat International Airport.
If convicted, Kwon faces a fine or 20 years in prison or both.
