Flights to Bangkok were a top seller among men, and those to Osaka among women according to a major online retailer this year.
Gmarket analyzed sales of airline tickets from January to November.
For men, tickets to Shanghai, Tokyo, Osaka and Manila were next after Bangkok.
Women favored Bangkok, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Fukuoka, after Osaka.
Three of the top five cities for women were in Japan. This is because Korean women enjoy Japanese cuisine such as sushi, curry and desserts, the retailer said.
Disregarding gender, Bangkok was the top destination. Cities in the top 10 were Osaka, Tokyo, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Fukuoka, Beijing, Hanoi, Manila and Taipei.
