Heavy snow alert has been issued on 30 cities and regional districts throughout the nation Thursday morning, including Seoul, Incheon and those in Gyeonggi, North Chungcheong and North Gyeongsang Provinces.
Korea Meteorological Administration has issued the alert early this morning on Incheon and southern provinces and later at 7:10 a.m. on additional locations including Seoul.
Heavy snow alert is issued when snowfall continues for more than 24 hours and amount of snow cover reaches five centimeters or more.
