Singer-actress Yewon has apologized for the recent controversy over her squabble with a fellow actress.

“I sincerely apologize for causing trouble to actress Lee Tae-im, who must have worked harder and longer to achieve her dream than I did,” she said in a letter, Wednesday.

“I was too immature to act properly while filming the reality show My Tutor Friend.”

The controversy erupted in February after footage of their squabble was leaked on YouTube.

Following the incident, Lee, 30, stepped down from all her TV programs.

The idol girl singer, 25, also hinted at possibly quitting MBC’s reality variety show We Got Married.

“To be honest, I wanted to give up filming the program,” she said. “But I thought it would be irresponsible for me to quit. So I tried to do my best for the production crew, staff and my program partner Henry. I apologize to all of them.”

MBC confirmed Yewon and Henry will drop out of the program this month.

“I am sorry to the viewers, who may have been uncomfortable watching me on TV, and all the fans who have supported me.”
