Korea's beach city has launched plans for a bridge so visitors can walk over the sea.
Busan City's Seo-gu district wants to build a 104-meter-long, 2.3-meter-wide bridge near Geobukseom Island in June.
The steel and glass walkway would be 5.5 to 8 meters above sea level.
"We believe that this new 'Skywalk' can make visitors feel like they are walking on water, and hope this will increase the popularity of our beach," a district official said.
The district office also announced plans to expand the bridge by at least 192 meters ㅡ in addition to the construction in June ㅡ to complete a path of almost 300 meters.
The office is considering inviting public participation in deciding the bridge’s name.
