Two killed, one injured in brawl in Jinju

A brawl erupted in Jinju, South Gyeongsang Province, on Tuesday morning, leaving two dead and one seriously injured.
Police caught the alleged perpetrator, identified by his surname Jeon, 55, who had fled the scene near a construction recruitment office in Gangnam-dong. The man reportedly was acting irrationally when taken to the police station, spitting out senseless words that confounded the officers.
Jeon is alleged to have killed the two men and injured the other using a weapon. The surviving victim sustained a serious injury to his shoulder and was taken to a hospital.
The police are investigating whether Jeon has a record of psychological treatment.
