

Seung Myung-ho Chairman
The Hankook Ilbo, a sister paper of The Korea Times, has appointed Seung Myung-ho as chairman and Lee Jong-seung as president.
Seung and Lee will co-lead the board of directors, to which they have been made registered members, the company said Tuesday.
Seung, 59, is CEO of Dongwha Group which took over the vernacular daily last year. He was president of the construction and chemical materials group’s two affiliates — Dongwha Enterprise and Daesung Wood.
Lee, 63, was chairman of Newsis, an independent news agency. He also served as president of The Seoul Economic Daily and The Hankook Ilbo.
The newspaper also named Lee Young-sung as vice-president, Kwon Dong-hyung as managing director and Lee Jun-hee as chief editorial writer.
